Appointment booking systems typically rely on email addresses as a primary means of communication and booking confirmation. But, a feature like book appointments using just a mobile number can be the next-level in scheduling process for many small businesses like doctors, real estate agents, dentists etc.
In 2023, the most requested feature in DaySchedule appointment booking systems was the ability to schedule appointments using only a mobile number only.
Add mobile number
- Go to your event
- Click on the setting tab
- Open the invitee questions section
- Remove email and add mobile number
Click on Next button to save and apply the changes.
In my conversations with customers over the year, it became clear that 3/10 small business owners were keen to remove the requirement of an email address in their appointment booking systems.
So, we heard it 
And made the booking form for customizable, allowing for both online and offline booking processes, without mandating an email address.
We’ve made the necessary changes on Booking API to make the email field optional to accept appointments with mobile number only.
